Spring 2017 classes begin February 9! Please see below for details and to register!
This semester we are offering weekly classes taught by Jeff Hudson on Thursdays! These classes have been consistently popular since we started offering them and provide a great foundation for every dancer. If you’d like to attend more than one class level, we have a Multiple Class Pass, see below for more info.
During classes you will learn foundational steps such as walking, basic turns, and close embrace, and you will be able to expand your dancing vocabulary as you are ready. All of our classes, from Beginner to Level 2 can be repeated. Many of us continue taking beginner classes even after we have completed the series and learned the basic steps. Topics for Level 1 and Level 2 classes are continually changing so we encourage all dancers to keep attending classes (your dance partners will thank you)!

No dancing background required!
No need to be affiliated with Yale!
Please note: the Yale Tango Club is a non-profit, volunteer run organization – all fees collected are simply to meet our operation costs. However, we know some tangueros are in tight financial circumstances and we don’t want anyone to ever forego their tango education because they can’t afford class fees. If you would like to attend classes but can’t afford them, either use the contact form on this site to send an email or talk to the organizers directly to explain your circumstances and we will work something out.
